Michael Tetlow has been keeping Australians and the world informed for more than 25 years. Beginning his career as a reporter at GWN Bunbury in 1998, he moved through major Australian networks including Channel 10 and Channel 9 before embarking on an international career as a freelance producer and presenter in London.

During his four years in the UK, Michael worked with some of the world’s leading broadcasters, including the BBC, ITN, and Reuters. Notably, he helped relay some of the first images from the 2005 London terror attacks to audiences worldwide. Michael also contributed to Channel 7’s Sunrise and Morning Show, developing his on-air style and love of engaging conversation.

Returning to Australia in 2008, Michael worked across local and national news services, including WA’s A Current Affair and Channel 10, before joining the ABC in Perth as a presenter for the national Late News service in 2018. Since then, he has been seen across Australia on the ABC main channel, the ABC News channel, and ABC Australia in the Asia Pacific, occasionally presenting weather and the 7.00 pm news bulletin in WA.
