Michael O’Loughlin

Michael O’Loughlin is a proud Narungga, Ngarrindjeri, and Kaurna man from South Australia, widely recognised for his exceptional career as an Australian Rules footballer and his ongoing leadership and advocacy within the Indigenous community. Over a distinguished playing career spanning 303 games with the Sydney Swans, Michael earned numerous accolades, including a Premiership title, two All-Australian selections, and in 2015, his induction into the AFL Hall of Fame. Renowned for his resilience, leadership, and dedication on the field, Michael’s qualities have seamlessly translated into his post-football career.

Following his retirement from professional sport, Michael turned his focus to entrepreneurship and community impact, founding CMC Indigenous Services, later rebranded as ARA Indigenous Services. Under his guidance, the company has become a leader in providing Indigenous Australians with pathways to employment, education, and leadership within the property services sector.
