Katelyn Davies

Katelyn is a strategic sports administrator and communications leader with deep expertise across the Tasmanian and national media landscape. She brings strong industry relationships, sharp commercial acumen, and extensive experience in media, branding, and stakeholder engagement.

Working closely with the High Performance team, Katelyn leads the promotion and positioning of the team, the National Basketball League, commercial partners, and community initiatives. She oversees all internal and external communications, media and stakeholder relations, social media strategy, content creation, and brand vision—ensuring consistency, clarity, and impact across all platforms.

Katelyn joined the club shortly after its inception in 2021, playing a pivotal role in establishing the club’s brand identity, media presence, and marketing strategy. Her work has helped build a strong, recognisable, and respected brand that reflects the club’s values, mission, and connection to its community.

She began her career as a television journalist in Tasmania, before moving interstate to cover major sporting events and high-profile stories. Over more than a decade in media production, Katelyn has worked with Channel 7, Sky News, Triple M (Southern Cross Austereo), and Fox Sports News, developing expertise in strategic communications, content leadership, and team operations.

With a confident on-camera presence and warm, engaging style, Katelyn is also a highly sought-after MC and event host, regularly presenting major club events and working with some of Tasmania’s leading organisations.
