Across 390 senior games with Glenelg, South Adelaide, North Melbourne and 22 SANFL state games, Graham built a reputation as one of the game’s elite. He is a Tassie Medal and Simpson Medal winner, a dual All-Australian player and a two-time All-Australian coach. During his six-year coaching tenure at Glenelg, he led the Tigers to five grand finals and back-to-back premierships in 1985 and 1986.
Graham became the inaugural coach of the Adelaide Crows, steering the club to a preliminary final in just its third season. He also guided South Australia’s State of Origin side through its most successful era.
Alongside football, Graham built a successful corporate career as dealer principal for several leading automobile franchises. He then spent more than 23 years in radio broadcasting, including 18 years co-hosting FIVEAA’s top-rating sports and talk program—one of Australia’s most successful local radio shows. He continues to host the popular Conversations program and appears regularly as a sports commentator.
