Stephen Curry is one of Australia’s most accomplished and versatile character actors, with a career spanning film, television and stage.

He became a household name with his breakout role as Dale Kerrigan in the iconic Australian film The Castle. Since then, Stephen has built an extensive body of work across both comedy and drama. Recent screen credits include Population 11 (Stan), Bay of Fires (ABC), Ten Pound Poms (Stan), Thor: Love & Thunder, June Again and Lone Wolf. The short film Favourites screened at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival and opened the 2024 St Kilda Film Festival.

His television career is equally expansive, with standout roles in True Stories with Hamish & Andy, Open Slather, The Time of Our Lives, Fat Tony & Co, Redfern Now, Rake, Cloudstreet, The Secret Life of Us, Frontline, Changi and many more.

In 2007, Stephen delivered a career-defining performance as Graham Kennedy in the biopic The King, earning an AFI Award for Best Lead Actor in a Television Drama, a Silver Logie for Most Outstanding Actor and an ASTRA Award for Most Outstanding Performance by an Actor. His role in Hounds of Love secured nominations for Best Actor at both the AACTA and FCCA Awards.

On stage, Stephen has showcased his range in productions including his solo show Live, Intimate and Completely Unqualified at Noosa LIVE Festival, The Writers (Melbourne International Comedy Festival), and alongside Shaun Micallef in Good Evening, performing the classic Peter Cook and Dudley Moore sketches at the Sydney Opera House and Melbourne Comedy Festival.

Stephen is also a highly regarded host and MC. He has hosted milestone industry events including the 60th Anniversary AACTA Awards and the 50th Anniversary AFI Awards, and has presented at the Logies, ASTRA Awards and IF Awards. He is regularly engaged to MC major corporate, sporting and industry events across Australia, bringing warmth, intelligence and effortless humour to every stage.

His narrating work includes Hunted (Series 1 & 2), Blow Up, and Children’s Symphony performances for both the Western Australian Symphony Orchestra and the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.

Stephen is an Ambassador for Save the Children and continues to balance a thriving acting career with his work as a host, narrator and live performer.
