Beau Waters is the former Vice Captain of the West Coast Eagles and a compelling corporate speaker whose off-field achievements rival his sporting success. With extensive experience as a team leader, mentor, and driver of cultural change, Beau engages audiences across industries, sharing insights on leadership, resilience, teamwork, and personal development.
An AFL footballer for over a decade, Beau’s leadership was recognised early: he became a senior manager at 21 and Vice Captain at 23. Alongside his football career, he completed a Masters in Business, a Masters in Politics & Public Policy, and multiple management qualifications, while training in coaching, mentoring, conflict resolution, and workplace respect.
Beau’s impact extends far beyond sport. He has guided governance for not-for-profits, partnered with organisations including Lend Lease, Azure Capital and the Centre of Professional Excellence, and developed initiatives such as accommodation solutions for Cancer Council and indigenous engagement programs through the Kicking Goals Program. As an ambassador, he has helped raise over $1 million for Cancer Council and holds leadership roles across Team Spencer, Youth Focus, and AFL committees.
His dedication has earned numerous accolades, including AFL’s Most Courageous Player (2012), Eagles in the Community Award (2011), Heart of Football Award (2010), and Best Club Man (2010).
