Ariarne Titmus is a four-time Olympic gold medalist and the current world record holder in the 200m and 400m freestyle, widely regarded as one of the greatest middle-distance swimmers of all time.

At the 2024 Paris Olympics, Ariarne achieved a historic third individual Olympic gold, winning the 400m freestyle in what has been dubbed “The Race of The Century.” In a stunning performance, she defeated the two previous world record holders—American legend Katie Ledecky and Canadian prodigy Summer McIntosh—becoming the first Australian since Dawn Fraser in 1964 to win back-to-back gold medals in the same event.

Nicknamed “The Terminator,” Ariarne is renowned for her grit and determination. Her career has been defined by overcoming adversity, including recovering from a shoulder injury just months before the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and from surgery to remove an ovarian tumor in 2023, experiences she has shared publicly as some of the most challenging moments of her life.

Ariarne’s ability to perform under pressure has cemented her reputation as a true champion and an inspiration to athletes worldwide. Off the pool deck, she is known for her approachable, articulate, and engaging personality, making her a sought-after media commentator, having worked with the broadcast team for the 2022 FINA World Short Course Championships.

Passionate about giving back, Ariarne is committed to supporting the next generation of athletes. Her interests extend beyond swimming to horse riding, culinary arts, and a love of AFL and tennis. She is also a highly regarded speaker and brand ambassador.
