Taryn Brumfitt is a globally recognised impact entrepreneur, award-winning filmmaker and best-selling author whose work is transforming the way people think about body image, wellbeing and human potential. Her mission-driven approach combines storytelling, behavioural science and community impact, reaching more than 200 million people across 190 countries.

Taryn is the founder of the internationally renowned Body Image Movement and co-founder of The Embrace Collective, a charity that has raised more than $12 million to support evidence-based programs that improve self-acceptance and resilience, particularly among young people. She is the director of the critically acclaimed documentaries Embrace and Embrace Kids, which sparked global conversations and have been screened in schools, workplaces and communities around the world.

A pioneer in wellbeing innovation, Taryn created Embrace@Work, the first workplace wellbeing program of its kind, designed to help organisations build cultures that support confidence, positive mental health and sustainable performance.

Taryn’s leadership has been celebrated internationally. She was named 2023 Australian of the Year, received an Honorary Doctorate for her contributions to social change, and has been acknowledged by UN Women, Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls and the Geena Davis Institute for her advocacy and impact.
