Mark Bouris AM

Mark Bouris is a highly respected Australian entrepreneur, finance expert and business mentor whose career has spanned decades of innovation and leadership. He is best known as the founder of Wizard Home Loans, which became Australia’s second-largest non-bank mortgage lender before being sold to General Electric in 2004. Today, as Executive Chairman of Yellow Brick Road, Mark continues to guide Australians toward achieving their financial and business goals.

A Member of the Order of Australia (2015) for his significant service to the finance industry, Mark is celebrated for his clear, practical advice and “tell it straight” approach. His media career has further amplified his influence, including hosting Nine Network’s The Apprentice and Celebrity Apprentice, as well as Seven Network’s The Mentor, where he combined insight, mentorship and entertainment to educate and inspire.

Mark is committed to nurturing Australian entrepreneurs and small business owners through his Mentored Platform, podcasts (The Mentor, Straight Talk), original series (Survive & Thrive), and books (What It Takes, Rise). His 2019 three-city speaking tour brought together more than 9,000 entrepreneurs eager to learn from his experience.
