Steve Lennon is a business leader who approaches every day and every deal with a progressive and strategic mindset. A thought provoking keynote speaker, Steve draws on a working career full of twists and turns involving many disciplines, industries, countries – and hundreds of valued clients and colleagues. He has been client and consultant, banker and borrower, CEO and corporate coach. He has built, bought and sold companies, and has had to bury one or two along the way.
Steve is a senior strategy & technology advisor to Boards and C-Level executives, experienced audit & risk committee member and company director. Steve is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Directors, a Board Member of Regional Development Australia, Sydney a CEDA Trustee and a Non-Executive Board Member of Basketball NSW.
After starting out as an accountant and auditor, Steve moved through roles as a corporate advisor, investment banker, corporate lender, management consultant, executive coach and led the Australian arm of Imagination, the world-renowned creative business. He spent five years as a Global Principal with Arup, the leading-edge design and engineering firm, and has served in consulting leadership roles at several global IT services firms including DXC, Fujitsu, CGI and Cognizant. Most recently, Steve was a principal with Nous Group, the international management consultancy, co-leading their energy and infrastructure sectors and implementation practice.
In his executive role as Practice Director – Australia at GHD Digital, Steve leads the strategic growth and development of a thriving business. GHD Digital partners with private and public sector clients in the energy, water, built environment and infrastructure sectors on the digital transformation of their assets, operations, and business models so they can rapidly adapt to change and remain competitive.
