Robyn Foyster is a multi-award-winning media executive, entrepreneur and board director whose career spans journalism, publishing, digital media and emerging technology. As the founder and CEO of Foyster Media, she has built a highly influential independent media network focused on innovation, leadership, lifestyle and gender equity.
Her publishing portfolio includes Women Love Tech, a leading platform demystifying technology and innovation, now expanded to include a global mentoring platform connecting women with industry leaders in STEM; Women Love Travel, inspiring conscious, solo and wellness-focused travel for women worldwide; The Carousel, a comprehensive lifestyle destination covering fashion, beauty, health and home; and Game Changers, a long-running video and podcast series spotlighting business leadership, entrepreneurship and innovation.
Through her technology venture AR Tech, Robyn has delivered pioneering augmented-reality projects, including the 2019 Vivid AR app and Sweep, an advanced AR retail tool using geolocation to redefine consumer engagement. This work earned her the 2025 Samsung IT Award for Best Corporate Content.
Robyn is widely recognised as a thought leader in digital disruption and innovation and has spoken at SXSW Sydney for three consecutive years. She has also served on the Women’s Advisory Committee for CEBIT.
Her senior leadership career includes Editor-in-Chief of The Australian Women’s Weekly and Group Publisher roles at ACP and Bauer Media, where she oversaw iconic titles including Harper’s BAZAAR, Cosmopolitan, Grazia, Women’s Health and Woman’s Day. At Pacific Magazines she was named Editor of the Year and led multiple titles to Magazine of the Year awards.
Internationally, Robyn worked on London’s Fleet Street for Today newspaper, producing front-page investigations into racism, environmental issues and fraudulent trade practices. She later worked in the United States as a Los Angeles correspondent for Channel 4’s Big Breakfast, before returning to the UK as a producer for GMTV, Britain’s leading breakfast television program, where she famously put the Spice Girls on television for the first time.
Robyn is a long-standing Telstra Business Awards and Mumbrella judge, a Taronga Hatch mentor, and has been an ambassador for the National Breast Cancer Foundation for more than a decade. She began her career as a copy girl at The Australian, followed by a cadetship at AAP Reuters, laying the foundation for a career defined by leadership, innovation and impact.
