Rebecca Morse is an award-winning South Australian journalist and broadcaster, currently co-hosting SAFM’s popular breakfast show, Bec & Soda. With 14 years presenting Adelaide’s 10 News First bulletin, Rebecca has established herself as a highly respected and admired figure in South Australia’s media industry and wider community.
Her transition to radio was recognised with the Best New Talent award at the 2019 Australian Commercial Radio Awards. She has also been a finalist in the 2005 Walkley Awards for excellence in Australian journalism and named South Australian Journalist of the Year (2005).
Rebecca is a sought-after Master of Ceremonies, having hosted events for organisations including the Australian Hotels Association, Australian Medical Association, Business Chicks, Kickstart for Kids, Ronald McDonald House, Adelaide Fashion Festival, Port Adelaide Football Club, SACA, and Adelaide University.
A proud ambassador for the Animal Welfare League, Kickstart for Kids, the Premier’s Reading Challenge, and the Port Adelaide Football Club, Rebecca balances her professional career with family life. She is married with three children and writes a popular parenting column in the local magazine Kiddo.
Born in Adelaide, Rebecca attended Blackwood High School and completed a Journalism degree at the University of South Australia. She began her career with an ABC cadetship in 1998, working in Port Pirie, Darwin, and Brisbane before returning to Adelaide as a senior reporter and presenter, leading into her 14-year tenure at Network 10.
