Peter Berry is the Managing Director and founder of Peter Berry Consultancy (PBC) and one of Australia’s most experienced and respected management consultants. With more than 25 years’ experience, Peter has taught in leading business schools, worked with thousands of CEOs and senior leaders, and supported organisations of all sizes to achieve leadership effectiveness and business excellence.

Peter specialises in leadership development, executive coaching, change management, business planning and team building. Through PBC, he delivers customer-focused, evidence-based solutions that enable organisations to select the right people, develop key talent, build stronger leaders and enhance overall organisational performance.

Peter conducts leadership development programs across the Asia Pacific region, with a core focus on developing competencies at the level of self, team and business. Central to his approach is the development of emotional intelligence (EQ), beginning with self-awareness and supported by robust diagnostic tools and coaching interventions.

A recognised expert in personality assessment, Peter is the Australian distributor of Hogan Assessments. Founded in 1987, Hogan pioneered the use of personality assessment to predict workplace performance and leadership effectiveness. Peter integrates Hogan personality assessments, Hogan 360 feedback and coaching to help leaders gain insight into their behaviours, motivations and derailers.

Peter’s coaching philosophy centres on the concept of personal brand. He defines brand as reputation — the balance of being both likeable and capable. His coaching interventions are designed to help leaders understand how they are perceived, unlock motivation for improvement, and focus on developing one or two critical competencies.
