Natalie Barr is the co-host and news presenter of Sunrise on the Seven Network, one of Australia’s leading breakfast television programs. She studied journalism at Curtin University and began her career in television at the Golden West Network in Kalgoorlie, before moving to Perth to work in breakfast radio and freelance reporting for the Nine Network.

Natalie spent several years in Los Angeles working for KABC, KTLA, and KCOP, where she earned a Golden Mic Award for Best Newscast Writing in 1994 and a Los Angeles Area Emmy nomination for her coverage of the O.J. Simpson car chase.

Upon returning to Australia, Natalie joined Channel 7 as an on-the-road reporter, covering some of the nation’s biggest stories over seven years. In 2002, she became the news presenter for Sunrise, delivering major live broadcasts including Cyclone Larry, the Beaconsfield mine rescue, and the deaths of Pope John Paul II and Steve Irwin.

In addition to her on-screen work, Natalie has hosted a wide range of events, including the Diabetes Buzz Ball in Sydney, the Australian of the Year nominations, and the Oakes Day Ladies Lunch in Melbourne. She is a sought-after speaker, sharing her experiences in media and life at corporate, charity, and community events.
