At 18, Lachie became the youngest person to fly solo around the world in a single-engine aircraft. The journey, spanning 2.5 years of planning and 54 days of flying, tested him through storms, complex international navigation, and raising over half a million dollars. Along the way, he learned how to harness personal and collective capability, earning the Australian Geographic Spirit of Adventure Award and keys to two cities.
As CEO, Lachie has steered Smartline Medical through the challenges of the MedTech sector, including the COVID-19 pandemic.
