Currently, Janice presents SBS World News five nights a week, delivering in-depth analysis and breaking news coverage to audiences across Australia. Known for her insightful reporting and commanding on-screen presence, Janice has become a trusted voice in Australian journalism.

Janice’s career in broadcasting spans over many years, including a significant tenure at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), where she reported on key national and international events. From breaking news to long-form investigative pieces, Janice has covered some of the most pivotal stories of the past two decades. In her current role at SBS, she regularly interviews leading newsmakers and provides live updates on major global and local stories, including coverage of key elections in both Australia and the United States.

Beyond her role as a news presenter, Janice has been the anchor of several iconic SBS programs, including the thought-provoking Insight forum series, the internationally focused Dateline, and the critically acclaimed Go Back To Where You Came From—a series that delves into global issues around refugees and migration.
