Alicia Loxley is an esteemed Australian journalist and news presenter, currently co-hosting Nine News Melbourne on weeknights.

Her media career began at the ABC in Perth, where she spent five years as lead anchor for ABC TV News and hosted the state-wide Drive program on ABC Local Radio. She later joined Nine News Melbourne as a reporter, moved to Sydney to present on Today, and eventually anchored Nine’s 4pm News.

Alicia has covered some of Australia’s most significant news events, including the Black Saturday bushfires, the London Olympic Games, and multiple election specials. Beyond reporting, she has appeared as a guest host on 3AW and ABC radio.

Off screen, Alicia is deeply committed to charitable work, serving as an ambassador for the Lighthouse Foundation, My Room Children’s Cancer Charity, and the Children’s Tumour Foundation. As a working mother of three, she often reflects on how parenthood has shaped her approach to journalism—bringing empathy, resilience, and perspective to her work.
