After rising to fame as part of the award-winning comedy duo Lano & Woodley, Frank has continued to push creative boundaries. He’s toured Australia, appeared in major comedy festivals, and showcased his talent in a variety of genres. Frank’s acting chops also shine through, particularly in his unexpected role as the Dog Catcher in the family film Oddball, as well as in his musical performance as Sir Robin in Monty Python’s Spamalot and in Lemony Snicket’s The Composer Is Dead at iconic venues like the Sydney Opera House and Melbourne Recital Centre.
His children’s show Noodlenut took him around the country, and he also became an author, penning three hilarious books for kids about a girl detective named Kizmet. Frank’s television presence is just as iconic, regularly appearing on shows like The Weekly with Charlie Pickering, Spicks and Specks, and Good News Week. He also captains the Australian version of Would I Lie To You and won Last One Laughing Australia, hosted by Rebel Wilson.
In 2016, after a surprise reunion with Colin Lane at the Melbourne Comedy Festival, Lano & Woodley returned with their critically acclaimed show FLY, which won the Melbourne Comedy Festival People’s Choice Award and sold out theaters nationwide. The show was later recorded and released on Amazon Prime Video in 2020.
