Frank Farina is a legendary figure in Australian soccer, renowned for his achievements both on and off the field. He was the first Australian-born coach of the Socceroos (1999–2005) and former coach of Brisbane Roar (2007–2009). In 1997, he was named Coach of the Year by the Queensland Sports Federation.

Before coaching, Frank was an internationally recognised player, capped 67 times for Australia, with a 17-year career spanning five countries. He won multiple Player of the Year, Leading Goal Scorer, and Most Entertaining Player awards, and represented Australia in World Cup campaigns, the World Youth Cup, and the Olympics.
