Brad Hardie is one of Australian football’s most decorated players, beginning his career in the Western Australian Football League with South Fremantle before becoming a champion across multiple AFL clubs including Collingwood, Brisbane, and Footscray. Over his career, Brad played 300 games, represented Western Australia 10 times, and earned football’s highest honour, the Brownlow Medal in 1985, along with two Simpson Medals and two Tassie Medals.
Since retiring from professional football, Brad has become a sought-after motivational speaker and master of ceremonies, delivering presentations such as Adapting to Circumstances and Goal Setting – Not Shooting for the Stars at major corporate and sporting events across Australia. Known for his engaging storytelling and sharp sense of humour, Brad leaves audiences entertained while imparting lessons in leadership, resilience, and performance.
Brad also maintains a “hands-on” involvement in football as a Specialised Skills Coach with the Western Bulldogs. His media career spans print, radio, and television—he writes for a national sports magazine, contributes a weekly column to The Sunday Times (Perth), co-hosts Radio 6PR’s Sport Central, and provides AFL commentary for 6PR in Perth and 3AW in Melbourne, covering teams such as the West Coast Eagles and Fremantle Dockers.
