Stephanie Brantz is a strategic and results-driven media and communications professional, she brings more than two decades of leadership experience across national and international sport, major events and government engagement.
Her work sits at the powerful intersection of sport, diplomacy and public impact. She has led broadcast and media teams on some of the world’s largest sporting stages — including FIFA Men’s and Women’s World Cups, Olympic and Paralympic Games, AFC Asian Cups and Grand Slam tennis — with a focus on high-performance production, cultural intelligence and inclusive storytelling.
Passionate about the role sport plays in building enduring relationships, Stephanie champions collaboration, inclusion and strategic innovation to create meaningful, long-term legacies. Her reputation for integrity, influence and stakeholder alignment spans international sporting bodies, government, corporate partners and community sport.
She currently serves as a Non-Executive Director with Venues NSW, Stadium Australia Club and Volleyball NSW, and is Deputy Chair of the Carbine Club of NSW and a committee member of the Primary Club of Australia. Previous board roles include immediate past Chair of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s Sports Diplomacy Advisory Council and Deputy Chair of Football NSW.
A trusted advisor to government and industry, Stephanie was appointed to the NSW Government’s successful advisory committee for the ‘10 in 10 World Cups’ initiative and the ‘Gamechangers’ advisory council. She is currently engaged with the UNSW Sports Advisory Council and the Pacific Sports Diplomacy Network, and in 2024 was appointed Industry Fellow at Griffith University Business School, focusing on sport, diplomacy and regional collaboration in the lead-up to Brisbane 2032.
An accomplished and highly experienced MC, Stephanie facilitates high-level events domestically and internationally across government, global sport and corporate sectors with authority, warmth and professionalism.
She is also a proud ambassador for the Australian Indigenous Education Foundation and the Chappell Foundation.
