Dr Roger Collins AM is a leading Australian management consultant and executive advisor, specialising in leadership, organisational performance, strategy development, and sustainable success. He is Chairman of the Board of Grant Thornton Australia Limited, one of the fastest growing international accounting firms.

He is Professor Emeritus at the University of New South Wales and a Visiting Professor at the Well Being Institute, Cambridge University. His academic career is complemented by extensive experience in the private sector, the armed services, the public sector, and tertiary education.
Roger holds degrees in applied psychology from the University of New South Wales and in management from Macquarie University. He is a member of the American Academy of Management and was the inaugural Chairman of the judging panels for both Australia’s and Asia’s Best Employers awards.
For more than 25 years, Roger has directed Australia and the region’s most successful strategic HR executive programs, attracting leaders and HR professionals from diverse organisations across Australia, New Zealand, and Asia. His work is widely recognised for shaping people management practices in leading organisations. He has received the AGSM Alumni Prize for Outstanding Contribution to Teaching twice and the Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Teaching Excellence.
Among his many accolades, Roger was appointed a Member in the General Division of the Order of Australia in 2004 for services to teaching and awarded the Australian Human Resources Award for Career Long Achievement in HR in 2005. He holds visiting appointments at Cambridge University and the Indian School of Business, and has co-authored several books and 43 practitioner-focused journal articles.
