An accomplished Australian journalist and presenter with more than 30 years of experience across television, radio, and digital media. Renowned for her versatility, integrity, and engaging presence, Mary has reported on major national and international events with clarity and authority.
As ABC’s Europe Correspondent, she covered some of the most defining moments of the decade, including the Paris terrorist attacks, the Germanwings plane crash, and the European migrant crisis. She also made history as the network’s first National Sport Correspondent, breaking major stories across tennis, cricket, and other cornerstone Australian sports.
More recently, Mary has presented ABC News Victoria bulletins and can be heard on ABC Radio, where her thoughtful and trusted voice continues to inform and connect audiences. Beyond broadcasting, she has expanded her expertise into communication strategy, podcasting, and MC work, helping organisations tell their stories with authenticity and impact.
