Gary Bertwistle is a globally recognised expert in creativity, innovation, and brand strategy, helping individuals and organisations think differently to unlock potential, spark ideas, and regain their “mojo.” Known for his fun, interactive, and thought-provoking presentations, he works with clients worldwide on performance, strategy, marketing warfare, and innovation.
Gary’s career spans retail, music, media, corporate education, and radio, with notable achievements including Young Executive of the Year (1981), multiple BOMA Awards, and leadership roles at Austereo overseeing marketing and promotions for 18 radio stations in Australia and Malaysia. In 1997, he founded Blue Moon Creative, and in 2001 designed The Ideas Vault, Australia’s first dedicated creative space for workshops, strategy sessions, and problem-solving.
An accomplished author of six books, including The Keys to Creativity, Who Stole My Mojo?, and The Vibe, Gary has also produced innovative creativity tools, audio programs, and a podcast series, The Mojo Sessions. His achievements extend to philanthropy as co-founder of Tour de Cure, raising over $35 million for cancer research, and service as Deputy Captain of the Rural Fire Service. He has been named Speaker of the Year by TEC three times and is a two-time winner of the Mick Robertson Award for Marketing and Brand.
