A medical graduate from Monash University, Dr Sharma specialises in general practice and works in inner-city Melbourne, primarily serving the local and international youth population. He has played a pivotal role in COVID-19 response efforts, including serving as clinical lead in quarantine facilities and working with community health services during Melbourne’s second wave. His public health advocacy during the pandemic earned him the Thornett Award for the “Promotion of Reason” from the Australian Society of Skeptics.
