Off the field, David has built an international legacy. He lived in Durban, South Africa, where he provided rugby commentary for SuperSport SA and specialized skills coaching at The Murray Mexted Investec Academy. In 2011, he launched the David Campese Academy in Hong Kong, focusing on skill development, technique, and creative play, now partnered with Rugby Australia through the Australian Rugby Foundation and the Classic Wallabies.

David also contributes regularly to the Daily Telegraph, Rugby Zone and The Roar, sharing his insights on rugby and sporting excellence. Beyond mentoring and commentary, he is a trusted brand ambassador for global companies including BMW, Mars, Adidas, Coke, Beats by Dr. Dre, Speedo, and Ladbrokes, and regularly hosts VIP rugby and corporate events.
