Chris Taylor is one of Australia’s most in-demand, sharp-tongued, and engaging MCs. A talented writer, performer, and broadcaster, he is best known as a member of the award-winning comedy team The Chaser, responsible for iconic television shows such as CNNNN and The Chaser’s War on Everything on ABC-TV. More recently, he was the creator, co-writer, and producer of the critically acclaimed drama Upright for Foxtel.

Chris began his career in journalism, spending five years as a senior writer before joining The Chaser newspaper. He co-hosted the drive-time radio show Today Today on triple j, and in 2007 wrote the musical comedy Dead Caesar for the Sydney Theatre Company. In 2010, he returned to triple j with Andrew Hansen to create and perform The Blow Parade, which won the ARIA Award for Best Comedy Release.

He has also worked as a script editor on Review with Myles Barlow and Hungry Beast, and appeared as himself in the wine-based web series Plonk. Beyond performance, Chris helps run the Giant Dwarf theatre venue in Sydney, contributing to the development of Australia’s live theatre and comedy landscape.
