With over 30 years of experience in communication, leadership, and team dynamics, Andrew Horabin is a renowned speaker, facilitator, and consultant. Since launching his professional speaking career at the age of 18, Andrew has delivered impactful programs for thousands of individuals and organisations across Australia and internationally.
Andrew’s unique journey began in education, where he worked with over 50,000 students and staff before expanding his reach into business, government, and professional sectors. He has partnered with clients across diverse industries, including local, state, and federal government agencies, professional associations, and community organisations, as well as elite teams within law enforcement, including undercover agents and intelligence analysts from over 40 countries.
In addition to his expertise in communication and collaboration, Andrew’s experience in stand-up comedy has played a pivotal role in shaping his approach. He created the character “Mick the Demotivational Speaker,” an ironic success in corporate comedy, which deepened his understanding of human behaviour, language, and performance dynamics.
In 2008, Andrew wrote his first version of Bullshift, a framework based on 15 years of consulting and leadership experience. By 2015, he dedicated himself fully to teaching conscious communication and the power of humour in personal and professional growth, founding The Bullshift Company. Today, the company delivers high-impact learning experiences to individuals and teams in over 30 organisations annually, both in Australia and abroad.
