In New York, they established their reputation when they performed their Off Broadway hit Thwak at the Minetta Lane Theatre. They appeared on the David Letterman Show, Tonight Live with Jay Lenno and Woodstock '99, their profile and success is at an all time high. They later performed the same show to embracing crowds in L.A. and London

The Umbilical Brothers other shows have included Speedmouse - performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, in Australia at the Adelaide Comedy Festival and the Sydney Opera Playhouse, Heaven By Storm, Don't Explain and Two Coats and a Hatstand from Hell. They got to the ARIAs with their performance Don't Dance Like This and they've been nominated for an AFI. Their television series, The Upside Down Show won a Logie for Most Outstanding Children's Series, and an Emmy for Best Title Design. Their regular appearances on the ABC series The SideShow were highlights.
