Sophie Monk is a multi-talented Australian entertainer, renowned as a television and radio presenter, musician, actress, producer, and exceptional host and MC. Known for her down-to-earth personality and self-confessed “dork” persona, Sophie connects effortlessly with audiences and keeps events engaging, even under intense pressure.
Sophie first rose to prominence as a member of the girl group Bardot, formed through the Australian reality television series Popstars. Bardot made history as the first Australian act to debut at No. 1 with both their debut single Poison and self-titled album.
In 2005, Sophie relocated to Los Angeles to focus on acting and quickly established herself in Hollywood with roles in films including Date Movie (2006), Click (2006) and Spring Breakdown (2009), as well as her American television debut in HBO’s Entourage.
Returning to Australia, Sophie won the fourth season of The Celebrity Apprentice Australia in 2015 and served as a judge on Australia’s Got Talent in 2016. In 2017, she became the Bachelorette, with the premiere drawing a national audience of 1.22 million viewers.
More recently, Sophie has hosted Channel 9’s Beauty and the Geek and Love Island Australia (2022), and is a regular on The Hundred. Alongside television, she has been a popular radio personality on 2Day FM and KIIS 1065, further solidifying her presence in Australian media.
Sophie is also a proud supporter of the Daniel Morcombe Foundation and continues to champion causes that make a positive impact on the community.
