Siebert has worked with clients in 22 countries across five continents, partnering with leading corporations, government departments, and organisations at all stages of development. His clients include HSBC, Rabobank, Amgen, Novartis, Pfizer, AbbVie, Rio Tinto, The Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Macquarie Bank, SABMiller, the UK Department for International Development, the International Labour Organisation (ILO), and government departments in eight countries.
He brings over 20 years of leadership experience in high-profile roles, including an executive position with the world’s leading brewing company, management of a commercial radio network, leadership of a turn-around management firm, a creative marketing agency, and CEO of two nation-wide NGOs.
Siebert has also dedicated his expertise to social impact initiatives, including programs for children living on the street, marginalised youth, and micro-entrepreneurs in developing countries. He co-founded a preschool for children with hearing and speech disabilities and contributed to the early years of Nelson Mandela’s Makana Trust for ex-political prisoners.
Originally trained in Psychology, Siebert holds additional qualifications in Leadership and Business, postgraduate qualifications in Literature and Education, and a Master’s Degree in International Business (with Merit) from The University of Sydney, where he finished top of his year. In recognition of his academic achievement, he was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma Honour Society for outstanding scholars.
Siebert is the author and presenter of the video, podcast and short-read series Lessons in the Challenges of Leadership. He is also a guest lecturer on Master’s-level business programmes in three countries and has been recognised by the Institute for International Research as one of Australia’s top five management speakers.
He currently focuses on niche projects for select clients, including mentoring and coaching, facilitation, strategy development, complex program design, and keynote speaking.
