Sarah Jones is one of Australia’s most respected and polished sporting presenters, front and centre on FOX Sports’ AFL and cricket coverage year-round. Beginning her career while still at high school, Sarah landed a project role with the Seven Network during the Sydney Olympics, which led to part-time reporting for Sportsworld while she studied at RMIT.
When FOX Footy launched in 2002, Sarah joined full-time, quickly establishing herself as a versatile and trusted broadcaster. Over the years, she has worked across FOX Footy, FOX Sports and FOX Cricket, covering major domestic and international events, including the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics, Delhi Commonwealth Games, and the 2012 London Olympics.
A skilled interviewer and accomplished MC, Sarah has hosted high-profile events such as the AFLPA MVP Awards, All-Australian Awards, and FOX Footy’s AFL National Draft coverage. She has also played a key role in promoting the AFLW, helping to elevate women’s footy on national television.
Granddaughter of Essendon legend Jack Jones, Sarah has been a familiar face to viewers through programs such as White Line Fever, Saturday Central, and On the Mark. Known for her professionalism, insightful interviews, and warmth, she connects effortlessly with audiences, players, and colleagues, making her a trusted and engaging presence both on screen and on stage.
