More about Sally Browne:

Sally Browne’s teenage years were spent playing the washboard with the Red Onion Jazz Band. In her late teens, she learnt to sew in a clothing factory, and from these humble beginnings, she became a Fashion Designer. In the early 70’s Sally started her own label, which she turned into multi-million dollar business which won a myriad of awards for excellence in fashion design and for outstanding business leadership.

In the late 8o’s, concurrent with raising four children and running her fashion business, Sally worked with scientists in Finland to develop the first heart rate monitor to measure and identify stress.?Eager for more challenges and adventures she moved from high fashion to high altitude adventures in the Everest region and went on to summit Mt Kilimanjaro. However, Sally’s interest in fashion and innovation prevailed, driving her to research the applications of 3D Printing to the fashion industry.

Sally is a proud Australia Day Ambassador and serves on a number of committees and boards. She is also committed to mentoring young business people.

Sally Browne is also involved with philanthropic activities through her Charitable Foundation. Over a decade ago she started a group for young women who had lost their mothers, sweetly known as ‘Girls without Mummies’.
