Rove McManus is one of the Australian entertainment industry’s great success stories.

Originally from Melbourne, Rove began his career as a stand-up comedian before moving into talkback radio and television, ultimately becoming one of the country’s most successful entertainment producers.

Warm, personable and playfully mischievous, Rove is a highly sought-after MC for corporate events and an engaging keynote speaker. Drawing on decades of experience interviewing global celebrities and entertaining audiences worldwide, he brings insight, humour and polish to every stage.

His eponymous television program launched on the Nine Network in 1999 before relaunching on Network Ten in 2000, where Rove Live became a cultural phenomenon. The show hosted some of the world’s biggest stars, including Cameron Diaz, John Travolta, Drew Barrymore, Matt Damon, The Duchess of York and U2.

Rove Live earned Rove three Gold Logie Awards for Most Popular Personality — Australia’s most prestigious television honour.

Through his production company, Roving Enterprises, Rove has produced numerous scripted and sports-comedy series, as well as the ARIA Awards, which he has hosted three times. Roving Enterprises is also behind the iconic current affairs and entertainment program The Project, which celebrated ten years on air in 2019.

In 2018 and 2019, Rove hosted Network Ten’s film quiz show Show Me The Movie and returned to the talk show format with Saturday Night Rove. He also created and hosted Whovians for the ABC, a talk show dedicated to fans of Doctor Who.

In 2019, Rove returned to his creative roots as an illustrator, releasing two children’s books with Scholastic: the picture book Disgusting McGrossface and the Rocky Lobstar series for older readers.
