Peter Stefanovic is an award-winning journalist, best-selling author, and presenter of the Sky News flagship breakfast news program, First Edition. Peter was a foreign correspondent for the Nine Network for almost a decade, during which he was based in Los Angeles and later in London. He covered a turbulent time in history, reporting on wars in the Middle East and Europe, terror attacks, natural disasters, and national elections.

Upon his return to Australia, Peter was a reporter for 60 Minutes and a presenter on the Today Show before moving to Sky News. In addition to his daily news show, Peter also produces documentaries for Sky. He is the author of ‘Hack in a Flak Jacket’, a book detailing his experiences overseas.

In 2024 Peter served as the lead correspondent covering the US election from America for Sky News.
