Peter Mochrie

Peter Mochrie is one of Australia’s leading actors, with a distinguished career spanning more than forty years across film, television and theatre. Alongside his acting work, Peter is a highly sought-after professional speaker, conference MC, workshop presenter and auctioneer, renowned for his engaging presence and ability to connect with audiences.

A graduate of the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in 1990, Peter soon returned as a regular tutor. During his time at NIDA, he developed a course titled The Art of Presenting, through which he has helped individuals and organisations significantly improve their presentation and communication skills, including online and on-camera delivery.

Peter has worked extensively with corporate leaders, professionals and creatives to help them overcome performance anxiety and fear of public speaking. His approach focuses on building confidence, clarity of intention, vocal projection, creativity and authentic connection with audiences. He also supports clients in areas such as appraisals, script development, memory techniques, managing nerves, everyday communication and personal wellbeing.

Peter continues his work as an actor, with the television series Whirld receiving awards at film festivals internationally. He is also an independent producer with Fine Films and Profiles and works in association with Mane Collective, a boutique video production company specialising in creative direction and innovative content across multiple platforms.

In addition, Peter works as an exclusive auctioneer for McGrath Estate Agents and as a charity auctioneer and has served as MC at numerous corporate events and fundraising benefits.
