Paul Barry is an award-winning investigative reporter and author of seven bestselling books, including The Rise and Fall of Alan Bond and The Rise and Rise of Kerry Packer.
He is currently writing another book, on Sanjeev Gupta, the British Indian steel tycoon.
Born in England and educated at Oxford, where he gained 1st Class Honours in PPE, Paul started his career at the BBC, reporting for Newsnight and Panorama.
In 1987 he moved to Australia to join the ABC’s Four Corners and has since worked for most of the major media groups, including 7, 9, Fairfax and News Corp. He recently stepped down as host of the ABC’s respected Media Watch program after 11 years in the chair.
