Nathan Earl is a highly sought-after Master of Ceremonies, known for seamlessly combining sharp wit, deep wine knowledge and professional polish. In demand across corporate, cultural and industry events, Nathan has hosted prestigious occasions including the NSW Wine Awards and the Hunter Valley Wine Awards, where his natural authority and engaging style resonate strongly with audiences.
Alongside his MC work, Nathan is an Emmy-nominated television Writer, Producer and Director with an extensive career in the Australian television industry, particularly in the genres of comedy and political satire. His impressive list of credits includes The Chaser’s War on Everything, Review with Myles Barlow, The 7:30 Report, Lawrence Leung’s Choose Your Own Adventure, Adam Hills in Gordon Street Tonight, The New Inventors, Balls of Steel, Wanted, The Checkout and the Andrew Denton-produced Hungry Beast.
Nathan has also consulted for leading advertising agencies such as Leo Burnett and Clemenger BBDO, producing branded content and television commercials for major organisations including Malibu, Connex, Commonwealth Bank, 7-Eleven, the ARU, Tourism Australia, Citibank and Dulux.
In the digital space, Nathan served as Showrunner, Writer and Director on the award-winning web series The Great Crusade, which received both Gold and Bronze Lion honours at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
Born and raised in the Hunter Valley, Nathan comes from a wine family and has spent many years immersed in the Australian wine industry. Drawing on this foundation, he created, wrote and directed the comedy series Plonk, which screened across multiple television networks, online platforms, streaming service Stan, and airlines including Qantas and Virgin.
