Natalie is an award-winning environmentalist, presenter, Board Director, climate and nature advisor, and writer, dedicated to sparking curiosity and action for the natural world. With a unique ability to bridge science, storytelling and leadership, Natalie works with organisations and decision-makers to reframe how we value nature, biodiversity and long-term sustainability.
She is the author of Nature’s Last Dance: Tales of Wonder in an Age of Extinction, a powerful exploration of humanity’s relationship with the natural world at a critical moment in history. Through her writing, speaking and advisory work, Natalie brings complex environmental challenges to life in a way that is both accessible and deeply compelling.
In recognition of her impact, Natalie was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) and the Forbes 30 Under 30 Honour for services to wildlife and environmental conservation in 2018. She has also been named a United Nations Environment Programme Young Champion of the Earth Finalist, one of LinkedIn’s 2022 Top Green Voices, and one of The Australian’s 2022 Top Innovators.
Natalie is the Founder and Chair of My Green World and serves as a Board Director for Foundation for National Parks and Wildlife and CARE Australia. She is a W20 Delegate (the official G20 engagement group), a UNESCO Green Citizens Pathfinder, a member of the XPRIZE Global Brain Trust for Biodiversity and Conservation, and a National Ambassador for the Australian Conservation Foundation.
