Los Angeles–based Maude Garrett is a multi-hyphenate media professional with more than 16 years’ experience across television, radio, digital and social media. A natural on-camera and on-stage presence, Maude has built a career as a TV presenter, radio host, producer, MC, voice actor, moderator, content creator and live streamer.
After beginning her career in Australian television in 2006, Maude rose to national prominence as host of the Hot 30 Countdown before relocating to Los Angeles in 2013. She quickly established herself in the US entertainment industry, hosting The Hot Hits Live From LA and becoming a regular presence on major red-carpet premieres, interviewing global stars including Angelina Jolie and Matt Damon.
Over the past decade, Maude has worked across network, cable and digital platforms including BBC America, Syfy, Nerdist, Rotten Tomatoes, DC All Access, Red Bull and The Project (Australia and New Zealand). In 2020, she hosted Rotten Tomatoes Watch List on Quibi, a daily streaming recommendations program, produced and presented from her LA home studio.
A passionate gamer and pop culture authority, Maude shifted her focus to the gaming and geek space, hosting and managing SourceFedNERD before launching her own successful platform, Geek Bomb. In 2017, the channel surpassed 100,000 YouTube subscribers and became a hub for gaming, fandom, role-playing content and live events, including her popular series Fungeons & Flagons, where she earned her reputation as the ultimate “Mauderator”.
Most recently, Maude has rebranded Geek Bomb into Maude’s Book Club, a sci-fi and fantasy book club featuring monthly reads, author Q&As, giveaways and live discussions, continuing her mission to build inclusive, passionate communities around pop culture storytelling.
