Marina Go is one of Australia’s most respected company directors and chairs, with a distinguished career spanning governance, media, sport and leadership advocacy. She is Chair of Adore Beauty and a non-executive director on the boards of Transurban, EnergyAustralia, 7-Eleven, Autosports Group, Netball Australia and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Marina brings more than three decades of leadership experience in the media industry, having begun her career as a journalist before moving into senior executive roles, including CEO of Private Media and Country CEO of Hearst Australia. Her governance career has included chairing and serving on numerous influential boards, including Netball Australia, the Super Netball Commission, the Wests Tigers NRL Club, The Walkley Foundation, Ovarian Cancer Australia and the UTS Centre for Media Transition Advisory Board, where she was the inaugural Chair.
She is also deeply engaged in public policy and leadership development, serving on UNSW’s Business Advisory Council, the National Foundation for Australia-China Relations Advisory Board and ANU’s Centre for Asian-Australian Leadership Advisory Board.
Marina is the author of Break Through: 20 Success Strategies for Female Leaders and a co-founder of Women’s Agenda, a leading platform for women’s leadership. She was named one of Boss magazine’s 20 True Leaders and, in 2023, was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia for her services to business governance, sports administration and the media.
A long-standing advocate for gender equity and cultural diversity, Marina continues to champion inclusive leadership in both her professional and volunteer work.
