Luke Escombe is an award-winning musician, storyteller, and keynote speaker whose unique perspective on health, creativity, and resilience has captivated audiences around the world.
Diagnosed with Crohn’s disease as a teenager, Luke has navigated significant mental and physical health challenges, transforming his lived experience into a platform for inspiration, humour, and education. His one-man musical comedy show Chronic debuted at the 2011 Melbourne Comedy Festival and launched a career as a sought-after speaker and MC, with engagements spanning Parliament House Canberra, the New Zealand National Museum, and corporate events in New York, London, Vienna, Bangkok, and Miami.
Luke is the creative force behind The Vegetable Plot, an award-winning children’s music band promoting “Love and Peas,” which has performed nationally, streamed millions of times on Spotify, and won international awards for songwriting, animation, and education. Through this work, he also engages as a teaching artist at the Sydney Opera House, running workshops on songwriting, digital music, and collaborative creative projects.
A proud ambassador for Crohn’s and Colitis Australia, Luke combines his talents in music, storytelling, and live performance with his passion for health and advocacy. His projects empower young people, amplify their voices, and inspire audiences with stories of perseverance, creativity, and the power of walking one’s own path.
