Former Australian Cricket Captain & Inspirational Keynote Speaker

An all-rounder who retired from International Cricket in 2013, Lisa Sthalekar made her debut for Australia in 2001 and has been part of four successful World Cup victories with the last one being held in India, 2013.

During her time with the Australian team, she was vice-captain from 2006 – 2008 and had the privilege for a few matches captaining her country. Lisa is the first woman to have scored over 1000 runs and taken 100 wickets.

Off the field, Lisa is still heavily involved in cricket, as a commentator around the world, including working for Channel 7 during the home summer, CricBuzz during the IPL, MLC, PSL and plenty more that have included ICC World Cups.

Lisa also holds a number of positions including being the first female President of the World Cricketers Association in 2022 and still holds that position, Board member of the Australia Cricketers Association board, also was the first female to sit in this role, and a member of the ICC Women’s Committee.

Whilst representing her country, Lisa also held a full-time job at Cricket NSW, where she was the High Performance Manager for the Female Youth Programs across the state of NSW. Lisa still does a bit of coaching with the NSW Women’s State team and is currently a mentor for the UP Warriorz in the Women’s Premier League in India.
