Liam Bartlett is one of Perth’s most respected investigative journalists, with almost 30 years’ experience across television, radio, and print. He has presented 60 Minutes, anchored Channel Nine News in Perth, hosted The 7.30 Report for ABC TV (WA), and reported nationally from the Melbourne bureau of A Current Affair.
Best known for his work on Nine Network’s flagship program 60 Minutes, Liam spent seven years reporting from some of the world’s most challenging environments, covering conflicts in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, South Ossetia, and the Middle East. His reporting has taken him from war zones and disaster areas to complex investigative assignments that few others were willing to pursue.
An articulate and engaging keynote speaker, Liam offers audiences rare insight into the realities of frontline journalism through his presentation “60 Minutes of Fear, Fame and Fun.” He is also a highly sought-after MC, regularly hosting corporate and government conferences, awards nights, seminars, and forums.
