Laura Csortan

Laura Csortan began her career as both Miss Universe and Miss World Australia, before becoming one of Australia’s leading television presenters, renowned for her warmth, quick wit, and versatility.

Laura travelled the world for seven years presenting on the highly successful lifestyle program The Great Outdoors, covering everything from high-end shopping in Paris to climbing active volcanoes in Vanuatu and trekking through Borneo’s dense jungles in search of orangutans. She went on to co-host the internationally acclaimed Wheel of Fortune, becoming a household name, and continued her travel presenting on Channel Nine’s Holidays for Sale and Qantas Destination Guides.

She spent a year in the United States hosting Discovery Channel’s World’s Best Beaches, and has also presented Channel Seven’s BBC Massive Nature, Racing Today, the blooper show Good As Gold, and appeared as a panelist on Grand Prix TV. Laura has read the news for Fox Sports News and is a regular on Channel Seven’s The Morning Show, contributing to segments such as The Style Squad, The Dilemma, The Jury, and weekly travel tips. She starred in a National Geographic film riding a motorbike across Morocco, which aired in over 200 countries.

Originally from Adelaide, South Australia, Laura holds certificates in Outdoor Leadership and Fitness Leadership and completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Sport and Recreation Management, majoring in journalism and psychology.
