Life has never been more interesting for Kate. Packing up the family and moving to Bologna Italy for a “family gap year”, has intrigued and entertained the nation as she, her husband Peter and the four kids live the dream that most of us, well, only dream about.

Kate is in a league of her own with great heart, humour and inspirational stories. Kate’s ferocious wit, playfulness and complete honesty with her audiences, has made her one of Australia’s top broadcasters and an Aussie favourite.

Kate first came to our attention in the mid-1990s with her unfettered opinions and insightful observations on iconic Melbourne Community radio station Triple R, where she was part of the popular Breakfasters. She was noticed by the Working Dog team and became a regular cast member on The Panel, one of Network Ten’s longest-running shows.

Kate brought her unique and very personal conversational style to start-up radio station Nova 100 in 2001 and catapulted the station to instant rating success. Along with co-host Dave “Hughesy” Hughes, Kate has continued to enjoy radio success on the ARN network and now SCA’s Hit! Network.

Kate has continued to be a familiar face on Australian television appearing on top rating TV shows including Talkin’ Bout Your Generation, The Circle, Thank God You’re Here, Dancing with the Stars, The Panel, Studio 10 and Hughesy We Have a Problem. Her early TV appearances included classics like Neighbours and Chances, as well as a string of plays and the feature film Father.

With a degree in journalism, Kate also took to scriptwriting, contributing to TV shows including The Bob Morrison Show, Neighbours and All Together Now. She has also been a columnist for the Melbourne City Weekly, The Sunday Age and Stellar Magazine.
