Justin Langer AM is a former Australian cricketer and coach, widely regarded as one of Australia’s greatest opening batsmen. He played 105 Test matches, scoring 7,696 runs including 23 centuries, and formed a record-breaking opening partnership with Matthew Hayden, famously bringing the Ashes home in his final Test. Justin also became the most prolific Australian first-class batsman, surpassing Sir Donald Bradman with 28,068 runs.
Following his playing career, Justin transitioned to coaching, serving as Batting-Mentoring Coach and Assistant Coach for the Australian Test team before leading Western Australia and Perth Scorchers. In May 2018, he was appointed Head Coach of the Australian men’s cricket team, guiding them to the T20 World Cup victory, an Ashes triumph, and the No. 1 ranking in international cricket. Recognised for his contributions to sport and community, Justin is a Member of the Order of Australia and a passionate ambassador for numerous charities.
