Julie Snook is an established media personality and highly professional MC and event host, known for her work with the Nine Network and Sky News in Sydney. Julie began her career in the NSW Central West as a print journalist with Rural Press. After completing a three-year cadetship, she moved to the ACT and joined the founding team of Canberra Weekly Magazine before transitioning to television with Southern Cross Austereo. She later moved into radio as News Director and morning newsreader for Mix 106.3, before joining Channel Nine Sydney.
At Nine, Julie quickly established herself by reading the early edition news bulletin, filling in as a weather presenter on Sydney’s flagship 6PM bulletin, and guest-reading on Weekend Today. She also enjoyed a stint as a guest newsreader for Triple M radio in Sydney. In 2016, Julie was promoted to presenting Nine’s daytime sports news bulletins, while continuing her role as a sports reporter for Nine News, cementing her position as a key member of Sydney’s top-rated news team.
