Julia Zemiro is a multi-talented performer, writer, and award-winning entertainer, best known as the charismatic host of SBS’s iconic RocKwiz. Renowned for her sharp wit, magnetic personality, and comedic brilliance, Julia has captivated audiences across television, theatre, and live performance for decades.
Her versatility shines through her work on shows such as The Jonathan Coleman Experience, Good News Week, Thank God You’re Here, and The Wedge, where her comedic timing and improvisational skills have been on full display. Julia is also a seasoned improviser, having performed with Sydney Theatresports and IMPRO Melbourne, and created the sold-out improvised musical comedy event Spontaneous Broadway.
A French-born Australian and Victorian College of the Arts graduate, Julia’s love of music is central to her work. She has delighted audiences on It Takes Two with iconic hits from ABBA and French pop and brought her trademark humour to musical satire in Eurobeat. In 2009, she became Australia’s face of Eurovision, hosting SBS’s coverage of the beloved international contest.
