Jonathan Brown is a former Australian Rules footballer and captain of the Brisbane Lions (2007–2013), widely regarded as one of the best power forwards of his era. A three-time Premiership player, dual All-Australian and Coleman Medallist, Jonathan earned recognition for his courage, strength and commanding style of play throughout his 15-year AFL career.
Since retiring in 2014, Jonathan has become a respected commentator for Fox Sports’ Fox Footy and maintains associations with major brands including Toyota, Tatts, the Herald Sun, CUB, Four’n’Twenty and NovaFM. Born in Warrnambool, Jonathan was a Vic Country representative before being drafted as a Father-Son selection to the Brisbane Lions in 1999. He made an immediate impact, winning three consecutive Premierships from 2001–2003 and later captaining the club while securing the Coleman Medal in 2007 and leading the league in goals over multiple seasons.
